KATHRYN DICKSON: EDITOR, DIRECTOR, TECH NINJA AND CHIEF IMAGINATION OFFICER
For almost twenty years, Kathryn has proven to be an industrious, creative storyteller, who has the versatility to jump from crafting factual programming, to reality, current affairs and even old school documentary in the edit suite, without losing her mind.
As if that wasn’t enough to deal with, Kathryn has ventured into the creation of branding and online videos. Influencers in the digital space have been tapping Kathryn’s expertise for a couple years to help them conceive and create brand messaging videos in the social media realm. On top of that, she also hosts videos and appears on many different contributor based sites and is best known for hosting the “Merlot, It’s Me!” Facebook live series over on Reality Moms.
Winner of a 2014 RTDNA award for diversity, nominated for 3 Gemini Awards ( 2007, 2008, 2009) a Canadian Screen Award (2015) for Best News Magazine Segment, a New York Film Festival Award (2015) and 2 Canadian Cinema Editor Award for best editing in a documentary (2012, 2015), Kathryn continually strives to produces top tier, exceptional stories no matter what the obstacles to work against are or how tough the assignment.
With a crazy hard work ethic and a sense of ownership and pride in every project, Kathryn sees it as her job to make it all happen in the suite, whenever that suite may be.
